The Alberta Equine Federation (AEF) is getting ready to develop its newest strategic plan to guide the organization for the next few years and we want you, our valued members, to help us create this plan.

The AEF is a non-profit organization established as the governing body for all equestrian sport within the province of Alberta, with the exception of the Racing Industry. The areas of management we cover include:

- equine education, recreation, sport, breeds and industry, 

- providing support and administering the National English, Western, and Driving   Coach Certification programs and the English and Western Rider Development programs within Alberta,

- the sanctioning and licensing of a wide range of competitions across the province, in a multitude of disciplines, 

- representing our members at the National level to Equine Canada, and providing reasonable cost insurance for all members.

The AEF wants to provide an opportunity for you to have a voice in providing input into our direction for the future.  We will be holding a one day Strategic Planning Event to bring people together to share your stories about what the AEF can do for you, your discipline, and the equine community.  This will also be a time for you to let us know what we are doing well and share with us opportunities we could be getting involved in.
